More wanderings in the East

So Zita and David assure me Budapest is Central Europe, but it's still east of here. Anyway, off I went last week, after a mere two days back at work. (Don't ever go back to work for just two days, if you can help it. It's not long enough to get anything useful done, but still long enough to attract lots more work!)

The parliament building is spectacular, and one of the biggest in the world. Like that other large parliament building, the Palace of Westminster, it doesn't have enough office space.

There are still Trabants around. It's nice that they have not been regulated out of existence yet.

these pictures are amazing - you have a real talent. I am rather jealous of your global positioning! You are so near to so many fantastic places. Are you home now for the rest of the week and then off for your next holiday?

Off for another holiday? I wish! It's going to be rather busy for the next couple of weeks, as I make up for having time off.

As for good pictures - it's much easier with digital cameras where you get to throw away the rubbish ones :-)

And you're right about the work piling up, J -- I think you need to be away for well over a week to stop that from happening.
