My mother wanted some pictures of her flowers while I was down over Easter. Unfortunately there were only a couple of minutes of battery life left in the camera, so these were a bit rushed. Still, I like the colours.

My camera is a not-so-new Pentax Optio 450. It's a 4 megapixel model, but I don't necessarily use the full resolution (maybe it's time to upgrade the memory card).
I like it because I can control the focus, shutter speed and aperture (if I want to), and because it has a useful 5x zoom (digital zoom doesn't count).
Even now I'm still getting used to some of its features, but probably the main reason I get some nice pictures is that I throw away lots more ;-)
